Thinking about combining a Kerala visit with a dedicated Ayurvedic treatment stay? Here's a realistic look at what a 7-day program through our Stay & Vacation plans actually involves, day by day.

Day 1: Arrival and consultation

You check into your associated Ayurvedic resort and meet with a doctor for a full assessment — dosha constitution, health history and treatment goals — before any therapy begins.

Days 2–3: Preparatory therapies (Purvakarma)

Panchakarma traditionally begins with preparatory oil massage (Snehana) and steam therapy (Swedana) to loosen toxins and prepare the body for deeper treatment — expect daily sessions of 60–90 minutes.

Days 4–5: Core therapy phase

Depending on your assessment, this may include Kizhi, Sirodhara, or other targeted therapies. This is typically the most intensive phase, and doctors often recommend rest between sessions rather than heavy sightseeing.

Day 6: Lighter therapy and free time

Many programs taper intensity here, leaving room for gentle activity — a good day to explore nearby backwaters or simply rest, if you opted for a Treatment + Vacation plan rather than a pure treatment stay.

Day 7: Final assessment and departure plan

A closing consultation reviews your progress and gives you a home-continuation plan — which oils to continue, dietary guidance, and when to schedule a follow-up, often via our online consultation once you're back home.

Is 7 days enough?

For general wellness and stress-related concerns, yes. For specific chronic conditions, doctors often recommend 14–21 days for lasting results — we'll advise honestly based on your assessment rather than a fixed package length.
