If you've never done a video consultation for something like diet or skin concerns, the process can feel unfamiliar. Here's exactly what happens, step by step.
Step 1: You submit a request
Fill out our consultation booking form with your concern, preferred consultation type (Ayurveda, diet, hair, skin or child wellness), and preferred time.
Step 2: We confirm your slot
Our team reaches out via WhatsApp, phone or email within 24 hours to confirm a time that works for you — accounting for your timezone if you're abroad.
Step 3: The consultation itself
A qualified doctor joins a secure video call at the scheduled time. Expect focused questions about your specific concern, relevant history, and lifestyle factors — typically 20-30 minutes for a first consultation.
Step 4: You receive your plan
Following the call, you'll receive a written summary covering diagnosis, recommended products, dietary guidance and next steps — so nothing relies on memory alone.
Step 5: Products, if needed, are arranged
If medicines or oils are prescribed, we coordinate delivery — domestic or international shipping depending on your location.
Step 6: Follow-up
A follow-up consultation is scheduled to check progress and adjust your plan — particularly important for chronic or ongoing conditions.
Different consultation types, same process
Whether it's a general stress consultation, a diet consultation, or a skin concern like eczema, this same structured process applies — only the questions and recommendations differ.
What to check before the call
- A stable internet connection and a quiet, well-lit room
- A phone or laptop with a working camera and microphone
- Your medicine list, allergies and reports within reach
- A pen and paper, or a notes app
- A family member nearby if you want help remembering the advice
What the doctor may ask
Expect questions about your main complaint and how long you have had it, past illnesses and surgeries, appetite and digestion, bowel habits, sleep, energy, stress, menstrual history if relevant, and your usual daily routine. On video the doctor can also observe general appearance, skin, tongue and movement. Honest, specific answers lead to better advice.
What you should receive at the end
- A clear explanation of the likely cause and what Ayurveda suggests
- Diet and lifestyle guidance in plain language
- Details of any therapies or products suggested, with reasons and cautions
- Instructions for what to do if symptoms change
- A follow-up date

When a video call is not enough
Some problems need in-person examination, tests or emergency care, for example chest pain, severe breathlessness, sudden weakness, heavy bleeding or a suspected fracture. In those cases go to the nearest hospital. For long-term conditions, an online consultation works best alongside your regular doctor.
